sometimes we forget we can explore the little things in life to get through the hard ones.

i have often used these three words when i dissociate in the middle of telling a story. i say "it's funny because..." in hopes of remembering what i was about to say. i usually don't remember. it's a strong signal for me that i have too much on my mind and need to slow down.

i wanted to share that with you because it feels more aligned with who i am…
